FORMAT:

Better Ball of Twosome

Net Scoring - USGA Handicap (every player will receive a USGA handicap card)

Play will be Foursomes as set by Tournament Director

Play will take place at Heritage Hills and newly-renovated Springwood Golf Club, alternating every other playing date.


RULES OF COMPETITION:

In order to qualify for team prizes ad individual prizes, a team must play at least eight (8) of the scheduled 12 event dates.

All teams are required to play on the final date of Oct 12th.
Play is always scheduled unless the golf course deems the course unplayable. Tournament Director makes final call.

Handicaps will be adjusted during the competition if deemed necessary by Tournament Director.

Honesty and fairness and the good of the game is
going to be held in high regard.

USGA Handicaps will be established for all participants.

A point system is established and will be awarded after each match. All scoring will be completed by Heritage Hills and maintained by them and
the Director.


RULES OF PLAY:

USGA rules apply with exception to any local course rules. Winter rules will be in effect until the course declares summer rules in effect.

Any questions about rules will be determined by PGA Professional Don Beardsley and the Tournament Director Duff Forsythe using 2008 USGA Rules.

During play, if there is a concern about rule interpertation, two balls shall be played relative to said situation. Both scores will be marked and then the proper ruling will be made after play.

Play will be from the white tee markers.

PRIZES

Year End Tournament Team Prizes:

The Harp & Fiddle Cup will be permanently
displayed at the Harp & Fiddle Irish Pub with
winners’ names.

In Addition,

1st Place: $250 per player, plus a $500 weekend
stay for two per player

2nd Place: $150 per player

3rd Place: $75 per player

Tournament Fee: $65 per player (This includes the fee for USGA Card)

Green Fee: $60 per round

Heritage Hills members pay only $4.00 each week of play!

Players must register with Tournament Director no later than one (1) week before the next playing date.

Tee times are guaranteed and are not refundable after the cut-off date.

Players may only register after cut-off date if a tee time is available and the team completes a foursome.

Registration and first green fee must be paid by May 21st.

There will be a RULES meeting wither prior to the 1st tournament playing date, or on that 1st date.

All teams’ players must be in attendance.
